We read of another prophecy fulfilled. God sent a sign to lead people to Himself - a bright and beautiful star. This isn't the first time that God's people have looked up at a star to believe God's promise, but this time, God sent more than a sign in the sky to help us believe.  God sent Himself - the root and descendant of David, the bright morning star. He is the keeper of the promise made to Abraham who looked at the stars and believed. He would shine much more brightly.  He is the light of the world.

  Tidings and Tidbits:
  • We used popsicle sticks to make the star today. It's easy and fun.
  • Here is a favorite of mine to listen to.
